We specialise in the decorative and applied arts from 1860 to the present day. We buy and sell good design and decorative objects including (but not limited to) Poole Pottery, Ruskin Pottery, William de Morgan and Dr Christopher Dresser. We are interested in works of Northern Art and in particular the work of Brian Bradshaw. Our stock covers the major style periods - Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern.

Since a young age, I have been fascinated by art and design and during eighteen years of buying and selling, I have built up a strong knowledge (and love) of design from 1860 to the present day. Combining my knowledge and passion for good design drives me to source and sell the highest quality art and designed objects.
The items that are displayed for sale both on my website and at the various fairs I stand at are individually chosen and offered for sale in a transparent, honest and trustworthy manner. I place great importance on building relationships with my clients. My reputation is extremely important to me and I like to think I treat people equally and with respect.

I have found over the years that many of my repeat customers have become friends, something I am extremely proud of. I feel honoured to have been trusted to assist in building strong collections not only in the UK but internationally.

In recent years, through standing at various arts fairs and events across the UK, the amount of business I do with interior designers and furnishers has increased. Whether it be private or trade, a designer, collector or a furnisher, I am always happy to source and supply items if possible.

Although life seems to become increasingly ‘online’, I find there is nothing better than standing at fairs and actually meeting and talking to customers face to face. I stand at the Olympia International Fine Art and Antiques Fair twice a year, The Birmingham Antiques for Everyone fair at the NEC three times a year and the Battersea Park Decorative Fair three times a year to mention but a few. I strongly believe that by attending fairs, it gives both existing and new customers the opportunity to handle and inspect items. There is nothing worse than receiving an item that looks nothing like the photographs! I think it is very important to provide good quality detailed photographs of items from every angle to help customers make informed choices.
