2Covet Dealer Of The Month - Wakelin & Linfield

2Covet are pleased to announce the Dealer of the Month is Wakelin & Linfield, a partnership consisting of Mike Wakelin and Helen Linfield who have been part of the antiques trade since 1982.

Wakelin & Linfield have many specialities including antique furniture, works of art, antique glass and ceramics but most interestingly, rare and sculptural primitive furniture and folk art. The broad spectrum of their pieces, from the 16th to the 21st century, sets them apart from other dealers and has resulted in national and international recognition on the antiques circuit.

Within this versatility comes an eclectic commonality through figurative timbers such as ash, elm and fruitwood used in a range of continental and English furniture including commodes, bookcases and dining tables. Their independent interest in primitive furniture and folk art is reflected at home, where they hold an exceptional collection of early primitive Windsor chairs.

Both Mike and Helen are members of BADA and LAPADA and have performed vetting on some of the most prestigious antique fairs. Moreover for the past 18 years, Helen has also been a committed director of LAPADA - a testament to their comprehensive expertise in the field.
