Our first Dealer Of The Month is William Walter Antique Silver, whose collection includes a vast selection of fine silverware, ranging from early Georgian to flatware and pieces by modern silversmiths.
Founded in the 1930's, William Walter opened his antique silver showroom on King Street in St. James', London. Ten years later in the midst of the World War II, the showroom and business was forced to close due to terrible wartime bombing, subsequently moving all silver stock to a safe deposit on Chancery Lane. This is where William Walter is based to this day, in the famous London Silver Vaults, remaining one of the first and longest resident silver dealers within the vaults.
William Walter is a longstanding family business. Raymond and John Walter, William's son and grandson respectively, joined the business in the fifties and eighties, and remain involved to this day.
With such a diverse range of quality stock, William Walter is the perfect place to satisfy your silver needs. As seen below, William Walter's collection ranges from large silver salvers, vases or candelabra to cutlery sets, wine labels or cruet sets, 2Covet are proud to showcase William Walter Antique Silver as one of the incredible, quality dealers on our marketplace.
