Cartier Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.43 carats, enhanced with four marquise shape brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.48 carats, further set with a cluster of seventy four round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.18 carats, to an impressive bombé cluster design,featuring a structured open work gallery and intricate open backholing, the stylised floral shaped collet surmounting the split shoulders which taper down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white and yellow gold, signed 'Cartier Paris', numbered '12 215 754', French, circa 1970, accompanied by a Cartier box and Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4255.
