Colombian emerald and diamond earrings. A matching pair, set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting, two in total, with a combined approximate weight of 6.83 carats, encircled by eighteen drop shape rose cut diamonds in open back half-rubover settings, thirty-six in total with a combined approximate weight of 8.40 carats, decorated further with six round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings, twelve in total with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 8.52 carats, to an impressive pair of cluster earrings, flowing with movement, featuring curving claws, polished edges and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to top with a secure shepherds hook. Tested white gold, circa 1990, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81318-20.
